What does Bible say about promotion.

Put your trust in God for all your promotion in Life. *(Matt.19:30)* The bible verse above is fascinating. It leaves us with a couple of questions. How can a first person suddenly become the last? How can a theist man standing eventually turn to be the first? Who, by the way, determines who becomes first and who turns last? What and what can cause such an eventual re-positioning? These are significantly unreal  questions that the Holy Spirit is set to answer here today. *What is promotion or growth in life?* The word promotion is not just for civil and public servants, or for some kind of corporate careers. It is a term that reflects on all aspects of man's progress in life. The bible offers a couple of ways to define the term promotion. Promotion, from the bible perspectives, means to: - to exalt. - to increase in prosperity. - to receive honor and homage. -to be celebrated, decorated, and or beautified, especially by a supposed enemy. - to receive remarkable gifts. - to rule peop

A message for new year and repent for wasted your valuable time.

TIME IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN DIAMONDS. Today we have entered the last day of the year. All the past days were extremely precious. Do you understand, child of God, that the time the Lord gave you was precious, more precious than precious diamonds?.  Once upon a time, a young man was walking along a seashore, when he stumbled on a small sack. He opened the sack and found it to comprise pieces of rock. He picked up the sack, and as he walked he threw the stones one by one into the seawater. At last, there remained only a few small stones in the sack. He put them into his pocket. When he reached home he turned out his pocket and was shocked to see that the stones were not rock pieces but diamonds! He was exceptionally sad to think that he had thrown quite a lot of those precious stones into the depths of the sea. Yes, all the days that have gone by were more precious than precious stones. The question now is, Have you wasted your precious time in the past days? Just as the young man had a fe

CAN A CHRISTIAN DRINK ALCOHOL?.

Temptations of  Christian nowadays. When a European Airline was initially launched, an educated Christian gentleman was touring in the first-class section. An air hostess moved toward him with a complimentary drink, this was an alcoholic drink, but the man politely rejected. The air hostess returned but this time brought the drink on a platter, planned to appeal and influence. However, the Christian man again politely rejected, understanding he doesn't drink alcohol. The air hostess was concerned and informed the manager. The manager approached the man with another platter, now designed with flowers. He questioned, “Is there something wrong with our service? Please enjoy the drink, it is a complimentary offer.” The man replied, “I am a Christian and I do not drink alcohol? The manager still insisted that the man take the drink. Then, the Christian proposed that the manager should give the drink to the pilot first. The manager stated, “How can the pilot drink alcohol, he’s on duty!

Tithing is an important part of our relationship with God.

IS TITHING IMPORTANT NOWADAYS. Tithing is a questionable topic among Christians. People have many questions and concerns about it, but disagreeing about what to sacrifice to God is not a new debate. This is a very old argument. One of the first disagreements we read about in the Bible arose between people exactly on the issue of sacrifice — when Cain was offended by Abel because of his sacrifice (see Genesis 4:3-5). Today I want to tell you what I see in the scriptures about tithing and what I believe about it. I have no intention to argue with anyone. I know that if a person decides tithing is optional and unimportant for him, then convincing him otherwise is not easy. He will continue to disagree. But for those who believe tithing is an important part of their relationship with God, this post will be an encouragement. IS TITHING A RULE OF THE OLD OR NEW TESTAMENT? Some people believe that Jesus rescinded all the laws of the Old Testament and that this means tithing does not apply to

What does God love the most?

Things God loves us to do. I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever. For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave.  -(Psalms 86:12). There is a very famous passage in Proverbs detailing what God hates. Indeed, throughout the Bible God never shows reluctance to speak against behaviors he finds unpleasant.  This should come as no surprise to us, being that He is holy and man has accumulated a large number of sinful tendencies since he first came into the world. But what does God love? While avoiding the “bad” list – is there a “good” list toward which we can be working? Let’s examine Proverbs 6:16 to discern the things which God loves. God hates “haughty eyes.” Therefore, God loves eyes that gaze with humility. Not a false or broken humility of despising oneself, but a genuine, Christ-like choice to serve others, not draw undue attention to oneself, and treat others with great honor and respect. God hate

Root of bitterness and unforgiveness.

An illustration from the root of bitterness, unforgiveness and offenses in Our Life.   Luke 17:1-6 [1]Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! [2]It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. [3]Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. [4]And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”  [5]And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith .” [6]So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. Offense : To cause (a person or group) to feel hurt, angry, or upset by something said or done.  In Luke 17:1-6, Jesus taught His disciples abo

Never prophecy without God's spoken to you.

Have you received a word from the Lord before Prophecy to others? The Lord Told or prophecy to Me. “Yes,” declares the LORD , “I am against the prophets who wag their tongues yet declare, ‘The LORD declares.’…This is what each of you keeps on saying to his friend or relative:  ‘What is the LORD’s answer?’ or ‘What has the LORD spoken?’ But you must not mention ‘the oracle of the LORD’ again, because every man’s word becomes oracle and so you distort the words of the living God, the LORD Almighty, our God .” —Jeremiah 23:31, 35-36 We play fast and loose with the word of God these days. In-depth Bible study and examining verses in their context takes too much time. People seem to prefer instant revelation and “words of knowledge” on the spot. Just notice how many believers say, “The Lord told me that thus-and-such is going to happen.” They proceed to give God’s take on the situation, whether his answer concerns a marital problem, a career choice, or a reprimand meant for a friend.  Thei

Obedience is better than sacrifice.

“What is more pleasing to the Lord:  your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Grace and Peace be multiplied abundantly to you in the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ Our Lord.  Every passing moment of our lives we should always ask this question to ourselves "What is my level of obedience to God? Have I improved in living a life of obedience to Him? How obedient I have been to What the Lord has asked of me to do?  Today I want to address an important attitude of the heart that we must all have as Christians and also as servants of the Lord. And that is OBEDIENCE.   In our lives sometimes we are like King Saul who wants to manipulate God by saying I have been obedient to the Lord, but in reality, we have not done everything the way that God asked us to do.  1 Samuel 15:22-23 [22]But Samuel replied,  “What is more pleasing to the Lord:  your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and subm
